Maximizing Hallway Storage – Wall Storage

Last week, we gave you some ideas of how to use furniture in your hallway to make it more functional. This week, lets take a look at how you can use the walls in your hallway to provide more storage, and cull the clutter.

The more people in your family, the more clutter seems to multiply. Corral the clutter for each person by giving them a dedicated space to hang their coat, bag, and to stash their odds and ends. Cubby-hole style shelving mounted on the wall with hooks on the underside give each family member their own space, so all of their things have a home when they walk in the door.

Shoes always tend to accumulate at the front door, no matter what. Instead of piling them up, give them dedicated storage like one of these sleek shoe racks.
