Founded by Doug Hope with the Parksville Spring Home Show in 1986, Evergreen Exhibitions Ltd. is now British Columbia’s No.1 Consumer Show Producer with 18 annual events. We currently produce Home Shows & Outdoor Recreation Shows across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.
Our shows have become an integral part of local business communities, providing a place where attendees and exhibitors can connect. We always strive for the best possible exhibitor mix to provide the visiting public with the newest and best products in the industry. This, combined with informative seminars, in booth demonstrations and FREE admission at most events, has proven a recipe for success, as we have now produced over 500 shows.
Meet a few of the individuals who inspire us daily with their hard-working and creative approach to the show business;
Darcy Hope
Darcy is the current mastermind behind Evergreen’s success. He is responsible for transforming a large, empty space into a Trade Show and takes great pride in the details and finishing touches which bring a show together to make them run smooth and successfully.
Darcy grew up with the shows, so he is the problem solver, improvising when needed to ensure the shows go off without a hitch.
In the office, he is the go-to man for getting group lunches, and always has an interesting fact you didn’t know you needed to hear.

Glenda Gall
Glenda is our exhibitor extraordinaire. She is responsible for booking you into the best space she can find so you can have the best result possible.
As a former exhibitor, Glenda can work closely with you, sharing the best strategies and practices to ensure you stand out from the crowd and get the most from your time at the shows. Glenda brings honesty, humour, warmth, fun and flair to the office and the shows. Her wealth of knowledge and experience in many backgrounds make for countless, interesting conversations.
Always willing to help a friend or give her time to those in need, combined with her love of dogs (and all animals) speaks to her kind and compassionate nature which comes through in all she does.

The Crew
Our display crew is the backbone of our onsite set-up and tear-down.
They are integral in getting the show ready-to-go by setting up draperies, tables and carpets to make the show look it’s best!
If you‘ve exhibited with us, then you likely interacted with them during move-in/move-out. Wether it’s helping unload your vehicle, loaning a tool, help lift a heavy object or even carry things to your booth; They are always eager to help and make exhibitors lives easier.
We are grateful for the hard work, fun and positive attitudes they bring to the shows.
Doug Hope
Doug Hope was the Founder of Evergreen Exhibitions. He put on his first show in 1986, eventually producing upwards of 21 events each year and grew to be BC’s #1 Consumer Show Producer. Dougs personality was larger-than-life and he left an impression on everyone he met. He visited the office daily and shared his vast knowledge with his staff while enjoying his semi-retirement playing golf, hockey, and riding his motorcycles.
Doug passed away in 2018, and his presence is missed daily.
